I am a painter and I recently moved from the east coast to the west coast. I usually use clear pine to build stretchers for my paintings, stretchers have to be straight and resist warping. I am making 5′x6′ stretchers and need straight wood. Pine seems impossible to get a hold of here, and I am wondering what is a comparable type of wood?

Is Certification (html & Asp Developer) From W3 Schools Online Legit In The Web Developing World?
The w3schoolsonline.com is a free course in all the computer languages that you study and do at your own pace. When ready , you pay for the exam and receive a certificate (if you pass). They offer the HTML Developer Cert. and the ASP Developer Cert. I am currently starting it, but if the certificates do not mean anything, then I do not want to waste my time. Although I am learning as I go, so it really isn’t that much of a waste of time.
Can Any Body Give An Idea About What Mayhem Is ,in Seo Process?

Moving To Canada - Where Are The It Jobs?
My husband and I are planning a move to Canada. We are currently tossing up between Ottawa & Toronto but would consider Vancouver also. My husband is a Web Developer and earns double what i do as a project analyst so we would prefer to move where the most IT jobs exist (within that city). Neither of us speaks any french (we’re starting to learn) so English jobs are obv our only option.
We are also curious about the cost of renting in those cities and about utilities / general living costs.

I’m Keen To Do A Bachelor Degree At University. What Subject Would Suit Me The Most?
From an early age I’ve been mainly into computer programming but I also had some musical ability with the piano.
So far I’ve been working for a range of different companies as a software/web developer. I originally got into it because I thought I’d be developing new kinds of software, involving creativity. I learned the hard way that business software just isn’t left-brain kind of stuff!
I’m really keen to get into something else but I’m not sure what, just yet. I’d be hugely satisfied if I could create some kind of product — not yet sure what — and market it and build a whole company around it. But it would probably need to be something computer/internet related, because that’s my main competency.
Any thoughts what kind of degree would suit my mindset?
I’m curious about Engineering, but I’m not too good at math.
Science, but it lacks the creative aspect.
Art, but it doesn’t seem to have career prospects.
Business Administration, but I’m not sure if I have the “managerial mindset”.
Any thoughts on what learning path would be best for me? Or what’s a good way to find out?
