I am finishing up my last year of a IT Web Programmer/Analyst Degree. I have been playing around with web design for about 4 years, but I went to school to learn how to be an at least half way decent programmer and I also wanted that little piece for paper that might help me land a decent paying job.
My major goal as a developer is to become financially independent as a free lancer and entrepreneur, but I am also aware that working for a larger company will help pay the bills until I can create the next Myspace of Ebay, lol. No, but seriously, even though I have created a few websites for a few small businesses they are not oober technical, nor graphically elaborate, and the reality that play time will soon be over has me shaking in my boots.
I thought I would come to the experts who have been there and done that for advice on how to improve my resume and possibly suggest extra courses I may want to take over the next year that can better prepare me to enter into the market .

Help With Microsoft Visual Web Developer 2008?
I’m making a web page in Web Developer for a class project and have run into a snag. The problem is this is an online class and it’s hard to get a response from this teacher. I am creating an RSS feed page and am using a tree view to list different servers to pull feeds from. I can not figure out how to change the header template when the feed changes. I’m using C# for the code to operate the functionality of the page. I simply want to substitute the current header template with the text value of the tree node that the user selects.

I would say Michelangelo was the first superstar artist. Not only was he a renown painter but also sculptor and writer. When he was painting in the Vatican he was making 80 times the average daily wage. When he died he had a fortune rivaled by the richest bankers, but he lived like a poor person, supporting his whole family which never had enough. He himself and his apprentices when working on the Vatican sometimes ate the thinnest of soups and lived in terrible conditions.
I guess he never cared much for money and all it brings. He was more interested in his work, calling himself no good at his craft. He cared more about his soul and if he is going to go to heaven after death.
