What Is A Great, Yet Cheap Camera For Photography?

I’m looking for a camera that is used for professional photography, but non-expensive. Thanks!

  1. I am a canon guy so I gotta say the rebel xs. This is the camera I learned on and it takes some excellent pics. Get some good glass too.

  2. Nikon D40.
No doubt about it. You could always get a Canon (they have less noise in low light situations), but if you’re looking for something affordable, you’re not going to have as many options when you’re looking for lenses. Only newer canon lenses are compatible with a DSLR. Nikon lenses back from the 50’s will work on a d40 — and many old lenses are excellent quality!
You can read more about the D40 here:http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/d40.htm
    It’s what I’ve got. I love it.

  3. I would suggest Nikon D3000 10MP Digital SLR Camera with 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G AF-S DX VR Nikkor Zoom Lens
Nikon D3000 is latest entry-level DSLR Camera.

  4. If you can afford it I’d recommend finding a used Canon 40D.. the 28-135mm lens is great, plus the 6.5 frames per second is amazing..
