Of course, when you interview for your job, they will want to know 2 things:
1. Experience. This counts, in a major way. Pick up a paper and look at the Help Wanted section. Virtually every job opening asks for at least a year of experience.
2. Certification. If you are lacking a job history, make sure that you get a certification. This is just a test that you can take in scores of specialty areas. There are even certification tests for software applications (like Microsoft Word). Getting certified can be expensive, so make sure that you only do it in the field that you will be working in.
