Is It Alright To Uninstall Ms Sql Server 2005 From My Pc And Replace It With Sql Server 2000?
would it affect some of my programs? i don’t know if any of my programs use ms sql 2005. i use VB 2005 and visual web developer 2005. my framework is 2.0. however i don’t have sql management tools 2005. that is why i have to remove sql server 2005 from my pc and replace it with sql server 2000 and sql 2000 enterprise edition because that is what i have. ms sql server 2005 i believe is preinstalled in my notebook.
is it SAFE to UNINSTALL ms sql server 2005 and replace it with 2000?
im worried that it might cause malfunction to my other programs and softwares.. PLS HELP.

Asp.net 2.0 Visual Web Developer 2005 Express Question?
I already asked this question yesterday but I added more info and I’m afraid no one can see my new questions. Anyway, what I’m trying to do is have a listings page (listings.aspx) which shows records. One of the columns is “Details” and once clicked, the user gets taken to Details.aspx. On this Details page, I want to add a Photos field which will display the photos of a house.
But the problem is I can’t populate the table with the photos. The data type I’ve selected for Photo is “image”. I can’t put any data in there. I get the following error msg:
Invalid value for cell (row 1, column 15). The changed value in this cell was not recognized as valid.
.Net Framework Data Type: Byte[]
Error Message: You cannot use the Result pane to set this Field data to values other than NULL.
Type a value appropriate for the data type or press ESC to cancel the change.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Visual Web Developer 2008 And Sql Server 2005?
How do I set up a website that uses a database on the same computer with the root account?
I want a database backed website made in Visual Web Developer 2008 with a database made in SQL Server 2005. I’ve worked with this kind of setup before, but I’ve never actually done the setting up…
Both Visual Web Developer 2008 and SQL Server 2005 are Express Editions.
If somebody could point me to a walk through, or just walk me through, the process of having my website and my database work together, that’d be great!

Microsoft Visual Web Developer 2005 Problem???
I downloaded Microsoft Visual Web Developer 2005 in the net. When I finished installing it in my computer, it automatically prompts for a registration of the product. Does this registration means paying for the product? Is it safe to register for the product? The message box said that it must be registered so as to continue using the program. I thought ASP.net can be used for free by just downloading it in the internet. Please help!

Visual Studios Web Developer 2005 Express Edition?
Hi,
I am using MS Visual Web Developer 2005 Express Edtion to develop a web application.
When I run the app, and it get loaded to IE, a small advertisement is attached to it and displayed along with my web controls.
When I examined my code, both the VS 05 DHTML generated code and the HTML from view source, I can not see the code that causes the ad to apear.
When the page is refreshed the ad disapears, it will then show up again if the page is refreshed.
Any suggestions on how to get rid of the unwanted ad.
