I need 2 start fresh I HAD a website ran on yahoo. I took a template and re-wrote the code to suite my needs(iam new 2 playing with html) it worked fine and I could have used it.however I didnt like the look(it was a generic template)and I found one better.I also learned about ASP.NET and its use w/ members websites databases SQL servers.I then switched web hosting to godaddy yahoo doesnt support ASP I am using Visual Web Developer Express edition, I also have Microsoft SQL server 2005. I have set up a database on my webhosting, I have enabled TCP/IP in the SQL server configuration manager, yet I cannot connect 2 my database when I run aspnet_regsql.exe program..

This printing vendor list will include information such as contact name, address, phone number etc and also i want to be able to add a vendor, remove a vendor, update a vendor and search for a vendor…can someone send me mockup samples of a preferred vendor list or another sample (doesnt have to be a vendor) of something that has a database where you can add, remove, update and search?? i also want at the bottom a vendor rating..For example did the vendor deliver on time? was the quality good? was the quantity right? this is something to show my web developer so that he can build a program on this. if someone sends me information on this then they will get 10 points!!

I’m starting to learn HTML to be able to eventually create my own site and must admit I’m really enjoying it, it’s pretty fun. I’m wondering what is the best editor to use? I am using Windows Notepad right now, and it’s obviously very simple and very basic which is fine as it does the job. But, is there any better editors out there, preferably one’s that aren’t going to take forever to learn how to use
Also, is there any simple tips and/or advice you guys could give me regards to the HTML process? One more thing, I’ve been reading up about a scripting language called PHP, is it crucial as a Web Developer to learn this, or is HTML and CSS the critical and main ones to learn?? Thanks! =)

I just installed the CPE 4, but when I open it, there is no “drawing and painting palette” on the upper right hand side of the screen, there is only the “photo painting” palette.

Assume that we have a canvas and want to paint “HELLO” on it,
using only two colors,one for background and one for “HELLO”.
Here is my question,can you give me an estimate of the number of combination of colors that can be used for the background and “Hello” that would be pleasing for human’s eyes and a painter can produce that easily.i’m clueless,just give me a number,for nstance more than 100,more than 1000.

i have an old outside brick steps that have a effloresent problem.do you know of a product that can be put between the brick and the primer to help stop the effloresence from bleeding thru.. thank you
