I have written Stored procedure in MySQL, I can’t able use those stored procedure in front end, but I am using table from MySQL easily.

Does A Web Developer Needs To Know Only The Back-end Of The Project?
If I am an asp.net developer or a PHP developer do I need to know how to build a pages? Or I just need to know the basics of html& css assuming I will mostly work to the back-end of the project(connecting database to site etc..) than building the front-end part(html. css, js etc..)

How To Go From Web Designer To Back-end Web Developer Now!!!?
Hello, I am looking for professional advice on getting a job as an ASP.NET back-end developer. I have experience already as a web designer and am very familiar with XHTML/CSS markup and some Javascript and ASP.NET basic pages.
I am trying to transition deeper into Web Development because doing front-end work is not a career, its something you do on the side in my opinion.
What would be the best way to learn ASP.NET/SQL/C#. I am already going to back to school for a Management Information Systems degree - but as with all public university’s, its all theory. I want to learn back-end web work hands-on, its really not taught anywhere except by looking on the web.
Any current back-end developers have any thoughts on my situation and comments. I need to find the best way to do this, I really want a job as a back-end web developer, but I want to gain some experience while I finish school, without just trying to learn off the web by myself.
