I’m working on a web project with a web design company. They outsourced to developers in Russia.
We didn’t sign any official contract, just agreed on some terms through email.
However, in the terms (it was in May), I forgot to mention that the complete property, source code, copyrights should come to me and my business.
I know there can be copyrights issues, but the thing is I payed to have this site done and also for acquiring the developpers’ copyright no?
Also, I have to mention that most of the site’s pages have been designed by myself under Photoshop (I have proof for this, thanks to the emails I sent them). But Photoshop is just a guideline for coding and development.
So what should I do? Do you think it’s ok?
I don’t want to go see a lawyer because I don’t have the money.
