What Tools Do You Use To Create A Sample Board? ?
Hi interior designers,
When creating a sample board what tools and materials do you use?
- What type of paper/board?
- Where do you gather your samples (e.g. internet, magazines, brochures, the store)?
- Do you glue your samples or tape?
- Is there a book on how to do this?
I’m a Graphic Designer and Web Developer. I’m making plans to finally decorate my place, and I want to take a step into the world of interior design. Also, I think the concept of a sample board would help me with future clients.

What Equipments (tools) Do I Need To Start A Digital Photography Studio?
Hi everybody, I really need help. Does anyone know what are the minimum equipments needed to start a small digital photography studio? What I have in mind is to print my photos and sell them. Also, photoshooting people in my studio and developing them. What kind of printers, inks, and papers do I need? All of these are in my mind. Is Yahoo Better To Use Seo Tools Than Google?
Hehe.. love the answers so far.
The question needs to be more specific.
Google offers some decent tools if you validate your site with their system.
Yahoo allows you to see the linking a site has no matter if you are the owner or not.
Most people use the Yahoo Site Explorer to see their inbound links as it is the most accurate tool.
I would suggest you use both but for the reasons explained. Use googles tools in webmaster central to get actual page link counts, top ranking terms, and other great info.
Use yahoo site explorer to find your competitions inbound links.
You want to rank in both so might as well see what information both have on you.

I am a 37 year experinced painter .. a painters helper on our jobs were required to have a putty knife/five in one..one good latex brush..one good oil based/solvent brush..a caulking gun..a dust brush..and a utility knife..once these were purchased optional tools were thier choice…Roller covers, roller frames ..and items of the sort that wore out pretty often was up to the company to furnish..any sub-contract work offered to us when an apprentice..then we were required to furnish all of our tools necessary..

Seo Guys, What Tools Do You Use? How Do You Start This Whole Process About Website Optimization?
If you’re doing it yourself, you start by learning.
There are several good books you can get — SEO Book by Aaron Wall, Small Business Guide to Search Engine Marketing by Jennifer Laycock, and SEO: An Hour a Day by Jennifer Grappone and Gradiva Cousin. Those are three I recommend when I speak at the search conferences.
There are several excellent forums and blogs you should be reading every day.
Tools — the only tools I use are various Firefox plugins, like Search Status, SEO for Firefox, and Web Developer.
I avoid SEO software. This isn’t spreadsheets and word processing we’re talking about. Good SEO isn’t done by running a piece of software.

Are There Any Tools That I Can Use To Firmly Press Painter’s Tape On The Wall Once Texture Has Been Applied?
I had to texture the sheetrock in my bathroom b/c it wasn’t prepared correctly. I want to paint stripes now. I am scared that I will put the tape down and begin painting: then when it is dry and I remove the paint, it would’ve “bleeded” under the tape b/c the tape is not firmly pressed down into all the grooves and cracks of the texture.

Can My Web Developer Just Down Tools And Demand Money That He Is Not Entitled To?
i have a fixed price contract in place that details how much and when the developer gets paid. His next payment is due upon completion of site build - this has not been done and so i have not paid him. He has now cancelled the contract and will not release the work that i have paid for already until i pay him for the 85% of the project he has claimed to have completed. I have a confidentiality agreement in place that he has signed agreeing to release all the files to me on my request. He still persists to hold me to ransom over the files however. Where do i stand?
