please give alternatives on the following list if you can(even few),do not tell me about boot-camp
(i do not want to be shifting os every time when i want something)
When I install My versions of Windows I usually/or must installl the following programs They are a must
-An Antivirus(karspersky/avg)(in mac os i think there is no need But it’ll be good if showed mea another security software)
-Nero image drive or Alcohol 120%)(Cd emulation Sofware-I need to have at least one virtual cd-ROM)
-VLC(A media player that plays AVI,DAT,FLV,MPG,MP3,MP4 and many more)
-Wordweb(an easy dictionary that load s by just right-clicking the Word aND PRESSING crtl ,Give me an alternative)
-A Mac os Feel(flyakite,WinOsx and other Progs-that can be easily solved by earning a Mac)
-Powerdvd(Is there a version for the mac/how is iDVD compared to this software)
-Jet audio(is there A mac version or better solution)
-Windows Media Player(This is a tough one,How can I play WMV’s In a mac)
-Ms OFfice(2003 or 2007, Compare it to the iWORk or is ther a version for the mac)
-Notepad++(I am Web Developer Wannabe,I got to have this software(good for hand coding),or give an alternative in a mac)
-Adobe DreamWeaver(is the amc os version the same as the Windows one or better,in terms of speed and stuff)
-Adobe Photoshop(—-”like above”–)
-gimpshop(—like above–);
-Wamp 0r Xampp( they worked nicely for on windows,how are they in mac ie how are they treated mac os that has it’s own apache and php)
-.chm files(the help file format in windows some of my books are in that format is there a solution)
- Microsoft Programming
-i am not yet into it(but does the mac handle this,the C#,Vb.NET ASP.net)
-Winrar(can extract a number of files ie .zip .rar and many more is there a software that does this in a mac?)
-C ,java and C++(i am a college boy,how does mac help me in this?)
-Nero or any better image burner
-Are there USB ports in a mac(do they accept Pc Mouses,keyboard,Pad on the mac os “leopard”)
-and about the hardware(the Hard disk are they IDE or SATA,CaN i Plug my 80 Giga Seagate in a mac?)
are macs Hardware easy to maintain like the PC
ie change/add RAMs,change hard disks,add motherboards or do i have to buy a new every time when it breaks

Lastly The BOOTCAMP
Win-Software ran on bootcamp are faster or similar to a comparable Pc(you can even demonstrate it interms of games)?
